looksoftware sadly announces passing of CEO Marcus

Melbourne, Australia – 6th April, 2011

looksoftware CEO Marcus Dee yesterday passed away after a year-long battle with illness. Marcus had recently stepped back from the business to focus on his health, and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife and four young children. The thoughts and prayers of all at looksoftware are with them during this difficult time.

Marcus was one of the founders of looksoftware and had been with the business since 1995. He inspired and lead the company's growth into a global brand in the IBM i marketplace. Colleagues, partners and customers alike will remember Marcus for his vision and passion for the business and the platform. His good humour and effervescent personality will be sadly missed in the community, as will his ability to inspire and motivate those around him.
